I think it depends on how you interpret the question. If you're trying to control traffic based on the interface IP, CoPP would probably work using an extended ACL. My interpretation, though, was that you need to limit access based on the actual interface the traffic enters.

Matching on the input interface in a class-map doesn't seem to be supported for CoPP (only standard/extended ACLS plus match ip dscp, match ip precedence, match protocol arp, and match protocol pppoe").

Don't have time to check at the moment, but is CoPP (control plane policing) another possible solution to the challenge?

Great intro for Cisco ACE! Cisco also has published an advanced deployment guide for public consumption for those that need a more detailed configuration guidance.

Better have a lot of spare CPU or low HTTP traffic levels when implementing HTTP inspect with regex or you could wind up in quite the pickle.

I updated to Snow Leopard (10.6.1), and I get errors when I run this script now. Any chance of an update for us Apple Script noobs?

error "Address Book got an error: every person doesn’t understand the remove message." number -1708 from every person

The error is being caused by the remove command in the following block:

if group theName exists then
	remove every person from group theName
else
	make new group with properties {name:theName}
end if
